h.a.l.l.o.o.w.e.e.n

This year I had asked Lauren what she wanted to be and surprisingly she wanted me to make a "poop dress" for her. These were her exact words. Now I could have gone along with this...I did have ideas of what that could be...but I decided to spare Lauren years of embarrassment. So a couple of weeks later I asked her again and she replied with a Mermaid for herself, Sebastian for Randy, and for me a witch...a good witch though:). This was totally up my alley as my wheels were turning and spinning with ideas on what I could make for a mermaid costume...then reality set in when I looked at the calendar and decided that a month would not give me sufficient time to whip something up. A month would be enough time for a person that was NOT pregnant and WASN'T in the process of opening up an online store. More on that later. So I gave in and bought a costume and a beautiful red wig too! Lauren was ecstatic about this! The costume was in hiding up until Halloween for fear that she would have to wear it every day up until it was really time to wear it!
Although this year was much cooler when we went trick o treating...we still had a great time! We had about seven people in our bunch for taking just two girls out in the neighborhood. Baby Brooklyn and Lauren had a whole entourage guiding them around to peoples houses asking for candy.

Halloween Party

This year we decided to have a family pumpkin carving day. We had to much fun. Lauren really got into it as we let her carve her own. Randy really got into decorating the house too! Give him some fake webbing and he was out to make the house spooky...eeek!
