Madison

We finally got around to making a little trip down to visit our Madison friends, Andrew and Jennifer. They are expecting their first in a couple of months. What a great time. The boys never seem to amaze us with their foolishness. And for the girls it was just great to hang out to talk and eat...and of course we were entertained by the McDonald's employee Lauren who passed out french fries to everyone! Thanks Herdina's for a great weekend!

Lauren warming up to Jason...kind of.
Little Max with Uncle Nathan and Aunt Allison. Such a cutie

Finally friends.

my little helper

while preparing dinner one evening, lauren was unusually quiet. when this happens we know that she is either looking at a book or doing something she shouldn't. it just so happened that she was *helping* her baby with a dirty diaper. i wondered though where she had found the wipes. later randy told me that she had asked for one and he gave it to her. she must had found the stash and went on with her business. i guess that she will be willing to learn when that time comes when we have another baby.

out came the stickers

papa joe even fit in the tent!

Look at who is two...or how Lauren would say it "do00". These two years have sped past very quickly. I am sure the next two years will too since there is no stoppin' Lauren!
I had a blast preparing for her party. The party planner in me went all out with a flower theme. Lauren continues to adore them so it seemed very fitting for her. There were flowers on the windows which seemed to fall like snowflakes, flower cakes, and cookies. I also had fun making a Happy Birthday sign too! Can't take all the credit though...my mom was a huge help in aiding through decorations and food preparation.
We had a great time with family.
And Lauren received some really fun gifts. Her most favorite being a tunnel that the Diltz's gave to her. I have some videos that I will have to post of all of us playing with it . Good times were had by all I think.
